A Glimpse Into Our Halloween Fun
by Jennifer | Jan 26, 2017
The leaves are starting to fall, there is a breeze in the air and everything is turning to pumpkins. Finding Halloween theme activities is one of my favorite things about fall. There are so many great events from coast to coast it is hard to choose just one. So below I have chosen my top three Halloween activities we went to this year!
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disneyland
Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth! But did you know every year around this time it becomes the spookiest place on Earth too! When the sun begins to set behind the Sleeping Beauty’s castle the real fun begins. Adults and kids alike rush the gates of Disneyland to attend Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party. Main Street USA is covered by a fog, its shops boasts spooky treats and costume clad characters. My favorite attraction was The Haunted Masion A Nightmare Before Christmas Style. The whole ride was transformed with characters and scenes from Tim Burton’s iconic movie. My little ones loved the trick or treat stations and Halloween theme parade. This family friendly Halloween party is one I hope to get to every year.
The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place
Sesame Place is an amazing theme park located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The iconic street comes to life at this park with rides, shops, shows and meet and greets with your favorite characters. Halloween comes to your favorite street with spooky theme shows, characters dressed in their halloween costumes and pumpkin painting. Whats a good Halloween party with out some trick or treating! Yes you read that correctly trick or treating stations are set up throughout the park and kids are given bags to fill up to their heart’s delight with sweet snacks and candy. Halloween surprises were everywhere throughout the park. From the Not So Spooky Hayride to the Rubber Dukie Costume Party this Halloween bash should be at the top of your Halloween must sees.
Jack-O-Latern Specklatcular at Roger Williams Park Zoo
I did say we were going coast to coast on this one. At Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island you will find a trail with over 5,000 illuminated and carved pumpkin. The New England fall foliage and the glow of the pumpkins is a sight to be seen. These carved pumpkins are truly a work of art and a must see if you are in the New England area this fall.
