Chicago Metallic Baking Fun
by Jennifer | Aug 05, 2017
My two year old twins love to help me in the kitchen whenever they can. Their favorite thing to help me do is bake, one of their jobs is usually to roll out and flatten the dough (at least they try). And of course the other is to be my little taste testers. Thanks to Chicago Metallic we tried making some new pasteries with their hand pie set. We made personal size berry pies with this awesome pie set and they turned out so yummy.
This set from Chicago Metallic made making these tasty treats a breeze. After we rolled out the pie crust we used the included press to cut out the mini pies, then fill them with our berries and then simply squeezed the press closed. After that we vented and brushed the top of the pies with egg and sugar we put them in their oven for only 12 minutes. And after cooling we enjoyed these pasteries with some whip cream on top. The twins approved and even had seconds.
Clean up was a breeze since we could put our pie maker in the dishwasher. Head HERE to buy this product and check out their raspberry pie recipe. I plan to use this product to also make some savory pies like, meat pies, chicken pies and empanadas. Check out Chicago Metallic’s site for more great bakeware and recipes. Thank you Chicago Bakeware for gifting us this set.
