Cooking Made Easy With Blue Apron

by Jennifer | Jan 26, 2017

Being a Mom of two year old twins a simple trip to the grocery story can turn into quite a rollercoaster ride.  Let alone trying to shop for ingredients for a new recipe. But Blue Apron has been my hero.  Each week I get three new (never the same dish in a year) dinners at my door.  But the best part is everything is fresh, heathy, easy to prepare and delicious.  I love that every meal is portion controlled and comes with nutrition facts.  The price is $59.99 for three meals for two people.  You can skip weeks if you are going on vacation or have other plans.  And you can cancel at anytime.  When my box box arrives it includes three recipe cards, fresh ingredients, fresh veggies, and seafood/meat.  The box is packed very well with dry ice and overnighted.

The recipe cards make it so easy to grab which ingredients you need and layout the instructions step by step and even include photos. With a prep time and cook time printed right on there I can time my dinners perfectly.

Cooking newbie? And can not tell a cauliflower from broccoli, don’t worry Blue Apron has you covered  Everything is indivually packaged and labeled, to make it super easy.

They even give you small sizes of condiments and seasonings. Which is amazing since I don’t always have Furikake in the house and would hate to buy a whole container if I was making the recipe on my own.  Every single ingredient is always included except salt, pepper, and olive oil.

The end result of this meal was delicious.  This Chilled Chicken Ramen recipe was a hit.  Blue Apron also has great customer service, every time I have emailed them they have a prompt response.  I look forward to trying future recipes and new exciting dishes.  .
