Diving Into Fun At Sea Quest

Greyson and Savannah have been in love with the ocean and sea life for a couple years now. I also have a huge fondness for it too. So when Sea Quest opened in Folsom CA we couldn’t wait to check it out. This past weekend they were gracious enough to host us and it was a experience like no other.
Don’t get me wrong we love to visit aquariums and zoos but Sea Quest goes above and beyond these attractions by letting you get up close with their sea creatures and animals. We were able to feed the fish and goats, pet a turtle feel a sting ray and more. Before entering the Quest you will be able to purchase tokens for the feeding machines through you journey. This way you are able to feed the species you want and you are giving them the correct food. And when an animal or sea creature has been fed enough the machine will no longer be available to use until it is their feeding time again. As you walk thru each exhibit their are many signs and facts letting you know what you are looking at. Sea Quest is also home to animals such as sloths, lizards, snakes, exotic birds, and our favorite the capybara.
We were able to immerse ourselves in the wonders of the sea, rainforest and deserts as our talented tour guide walked us through the over 20,000 square foot Sea Quest interactive experience.
The twins most memorable part was the behind the scene tour where they were able to see how the tanks were maintained and the animals/sea life food was prepared. They were even able to help make the squid that they later fed to the sting rays!
I loved the message that Sea Quest taught. It was one of respecting all of the Earth’s creatures, protecting our plant, and conservation. Sea Quest proudly helps rehome and rescue many local animals. Including some of their turtles and snakes they now care for.
