Have you ever tried to organize buying a group gift? It is hard to keep track of who pitched in, who didn’t pay, how to handle the money, who goes to buy the gift and what to get once the money is collected. GiftCrowd has solved this problem! With GiftCrowd all of this can be done right from your computer or smartphone. Just head to their site create a gift and date, invite others to join and everyone can pay their share remotely. Once everyone has paid or the goal amount has been reached the recipient of the gift can go on GiftCrowd and select a gift card from dozens of retailers.
A great example of the way we would use GiftCrowd is Savvy and Grey recently had a birthday and we have family all across the country. They all wanted to know what to get them and if they should mail them their gifts. Instead of getting unwanted toys, duplicates or our families having to pay shipping, we can create a GiftCrowd account, invite our family and friends and then have them all give their desired amount towards a gift card (safely and securely).
Gift Crowd was generous enough to pitch in towards Savvy and Grey’s birthday account on their site. The twins had so much fun going on my IPad to choose where they wanted their gift card from. The site was so easy to use. And I loved that we could choose the dominations of the gift cards we wanted and didn’t have to get the full amount to just one store. After choosing a gift card from Toys R Us the card was delivered within minutes to my inbox! That very same day the twins were picked out their Birthday goodies!
