Hot Cocoa Spoon DIY

Baby it’s cold outside. Let’s curl up with a cup of hot cocoa and watch a Christmas movie! A piping hot cup of hot chcolate is one of my favorite winter treats. Today I am sharing how to make your own Hot Cocoa Spoons. Once they are made just swirl them in some boiling water in your favorite mug and enjoy. These would also make great gifts, just add some cello wrap and a bow. Then they are so gift ready.
Ingredients
18 Wooden Spoons
1 pound semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
Cook/Prep time 20-25 minutes
Step 1
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. In a 1 quart saucepan, melt chocolate chips on low heat keep stirring constantly.
Step 2
Tilt the saucepan so the chocolate goes to one side of the pan. Then dip curved side of the spoon into the chocolate (making sure to get and keep a lot of chcolate on the Spoon) . Then top with mini marshmallows . Place the dipped spoons on waxed paper. Let stand for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate is dry.
You can get creative with your spoons and add sprinkles or candy cane chips (for a peppermint mocha flavor)!
