Lilly Pulitzer After Party Tips And Tricks

Any Lilly lover will tell you the Lilly After Party Sale is a dream come true. It is because Lilly Pulitzer items are always full price on their homepage, but twice a year usually in August and January they have a huge and I mean huge sale. And this years the sale is only hours away, Thursday January 5, 2017 at 8 am until Friday January 6 1pm. All the items that are taken off the site (old collection) thru the year are marked down dramatically for these sales. I have purchased $198 shift dresses for $49 and $68 shorts for $24! I also love to stock up for Lilly Pulitzer matching Mommy and me outfits during the sale. Since the sale is so popular things sell out quick. Below are a few of my tips and tricks to scoring some great goodies during the sale!
Have A Few Devices Ready To Go
The party starts at 8 am on Thursday. Once the party starts you are placed in a virtual queue and wait in line to enter the Lilly site to shop. This helps the site from crashing. I try to have my iPhone, iPad, and laptop all out and ready to shop so I am waiting in the line with three separate devices. This is also great so when you are done shopping on one device you can go back for more on the next without a huge wait time and I have seen up to a two hour wait some years if tardy to the party.
When To Checkout
If you find an item or items you love don’t wait add to basket and check out right away. Espically if you have other devices ready to go. Just because you add something to your bag does not mean it is reserved for you and in the time you take looking for more items your favorites can sell out. The great thing is orders ships free so you can place as many as you like without worrying about huge shipping costs.
Create An Account On The Lilly Website
By creating an account before sale day you can save your shipping address, billing address, and credit card information. This will make check out faster and get you back in line at the virtual queue to go for another round of shopping.
Check Sizing Charts And Product Reviews
Since things sell out so fast you really don’t have time to look over reviews and sizing charts, if I know I will be shopping for a particular item or style I try to do some research a few days before the sale so I can be sure to order the correct size.

Various times throughout sale day Lilly Pulitzer will have special pop up sales or hourly deals be sure to follow them on instagram and snapchat to be the first to know!
