Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram Review

Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram Service makes my bag stand out in a crowd! The Mon Monogram service started around 6 years ago. It gives you a chance to personalize your new Louis Vuitton bag, they say there are over 200 million combinations to make the bag your own! The products in the Mon Monogram Collection can have up to three initials printed on your bag. You can have your initials printed with or without dots in between (JMD OR J.M.D) , your choice of 4 stripes in different positions (no striped can be added if you prefer), you can choose the color of the stripes and your initials as well as the color of the inside of your bag! The creation of your special bag can be made online or in certain Louis Vuitton stores.
My experience with the Mon Monogram process was an excellent one. I choose the Speedy Bandouliere 35 and it was a perfect fit for me. Thanks to the detachable strap this bag is so functional. I love that I have the option to carry the bag on the crook of my arm, on my shoulder or cross body. The 35 size is so roomy without looking too big. In addition to an everyday bag it is the perfect size to take on the plane to carry my iPad, water bottle, snacks and more. I have also used it on play dates as a diaper bag since it is roomy enough to tote around my toddlers diapers, sippy cups, snacks and small toys.
Before placing my order online I went into my local Louis Vuitton store to try on the bag and look at samples and color options they had for the Mon Monogram collection. I chose the colors Bordeaux and Fuchsia with the vertical stripes. When placing the order it said it would take about 8 weeks to get in my new bag. I was so excited I could hardly wait!
To my surprise and delight my bag arrived in a little over 4 weeks and it did not disappoint. I opened the cardboard box to find my purchase wrapped with the utmost care. It was placed in a large Louis Vuitton brown box, the bag was protected by its dustcover, stuffed with air pillows (which I always keep and place back in my bag when not in use to retain its shape) and a care card. I instantly fell in love with my bag and still to this day could not be happier with my purchase. If anyone is on the fence about getting a Mon Monogram product my advice is to get it. You will be happy you did! I hope to add the Mon Monogram passport cover to my collection one day soon.
