M Is For Monster

Kids learn by seeing, doing and hearing but sometimes with toddlers holding their attention can be the biggest hurdle. But with M Is For Monster Box my kids learn by playing, reading, and doing. It is like preschool in a box. Which is perfect for my twins and a stay at home Mom like me.
M is For Monster believes in the power of play while making your child love to learn. Teaching the twins lessons at home before M Is for Monster was a real chore. I would have to think of a lesson plan on my own, get supplies and try to keep them focused. But now I can get the complete educational package delivered to my door step every month!
First you choose to get your box month to month or on a subscription service. Choose how many themes you would like to get a month (between 2 and 4) Then choose your child’s level, the levels range from 1-3. And depends on your child’s motor skills, word recogniztion and more. It’s that easy. Savannah and Greyson are a level 1, they will be 3 years old in October. Their level was perfect for them. Read more on what level to choose HERE.
The boxes are so easy to use and packaged so well. Each lesson has a book and then several activities that are based on what the twins read about in their book. The activities and supplies are packed in colorful bags and labeled so you know what book it coordinates with. And an activity card that gives directions on each theme and task. One of their books was The Boat Alphabet Book and the activity was to make your own noodle boat. Which they loved and played with the boat for hours. Another lesson with this book was a paper divided into 4 squares with different boats and numbers in each square. The twins’ task was to cover the boat with the number of colored pom poms that was listed inside the square. This reinforced counting and we have used this game several times since getting our box. Savvy is quickly becoming a counting expert and Greyson’s interest in boats and water has really peaked.
Teddy Bear patterns was also a huge hit with the twins. This colorful book taught colors and patterns with the cutest gummy bear illustrations. The activities included colored blocks and beads to put the twins’ own pattern knowledge to test! This lesson definitely helped teach Savvy Grey what patterns were and how to create their own.
Thank you M is For Monster for gifting us this amazing box. We love it and will be customers in the future. Teaching the twins at home is no longer stressful but a fun family activity. You can shop these Monster boxes HERE.
