Mini Football Brownie Cakes!

I can not believe the Super Bowl is tomorrow! Today I am preparing some snacks, wings and desserts to enjoy during the big game. Having twin toddlers makes cooking and baking even harder since I don’t have much time and they always want to be in the kitchen. So simple fast recipes are always my favorite. These Mini Football Brownie Cakes took less than 5 minutes to prepare and around 15 minutes to bake! Besides being super easy to make and yummy they are so cute and festive for any football party.
To make these football cakes I purchased a box brownie mix, a mini cupcake pan and some white squeeze-able frosting. First I made sure to spray a good amount of baking spray onto the mini cupcake pan. Then I simply followed the mixing instructions on the brownie mix box. Once the batter was done I used a spoon to carefully fill each cupcake spot. I set the oven to 350 like the box stated, the only change I made was to the cooking time. Since the mini cakes are not as dense as a large brownie I shortened the time to about 15 minutes (times may vary depending on oven and pan).
After the fifteen minutes were over I took the mini brownies out and let cool for about 7 to 8 minutes, then transferred them to a tray to cool further. Once I felt they were completely cool I used my squeeze-able frosting to draw some lines on each one to resemble little footballs. I then let my taste testers (the twins) try them and they loved them. I hope everyone enjoys the game and the commercials tomorrow!
P.S. I found these NFL paper plates at Party City. They have lots of great football party gear still left!
