New Year New Makeup Essentials Thanks To Sephora Play

I am super excited about this month’s Sephora Play box! The theme this month is Happy You Year. It features products to kick off your year with a fresh start. The products in this month’s bag helps detox, jump start and refuel your skin/beauty routine. In this post I will feature my two favorite products from this box! This Tarte product is an all new innovative on the go cleanser stick. It is called Tarte Frxxxtion stick. It comes in a twist up stick format and almost looks like a chunky black lipstick. It is super easy to use, when skin is damp you simply swirl the cleanser onto your skin. Once it is applied evenly you can continue to rub it in with your fingertips and then rinse off with warm water. I simply love this product. It is great for my gym bag and my carry on suitcase. Recommended use is two to three times a week. I loved how my skin felt so clean and smooth after use. It can also be left on for ten minutes as a mask. It is under $25 and can be found here.
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is a sheer lip color with a glossy finish. It is the best of both worlds a lip balm and lipstick in one! It goes on so smooth and flawless. At first I was worried the color would be too dark when applied. But I was pleasantly surprised once on it was on it was almost a light berry shade (as you can see on the swatch above). It goes on so easy you don’t even need a mirror to apply! I love this lipstick and look forward to trying the other pink honey shade available. They can be found here for only $17.
Between the Tarte Frxxxton Stick and Drunk Elephant Oh Lala! Whipped Cream my skin is feeling ultra hydrated and fresh this month!
