Mini Football Brownie Cakes!

by Jennifer | February 04, 2017

I can not believe the Super Bowl is tomorrow!  Today I am preparing some snacks, wings and desserts to enjoy during the big game.  Having twin toddlers makes cooking and baking even harder since I don’t have much time and they always want to be in the kitchen.  So simple fast recipes are always my favorite.  These Mini Football Brownie Cakes took less than  5 minutes to prepare and around 15 minutes to bake!  Besides being super easy to make and yummy they are so cute and festive for any football party.

Perfect Plaid Peplum Top

by Jennifer | February 04, 2017

Happy Friday!  I posted this plaid peplum sweater on Instagram a few hours ago and received a ton of questions and comments on it.  So I wanted to share the link and a quick review with you.  I love peplum tops they are so flattering and feminine.  Ann Taylor is my go to for peplum tops and most of the items in my closet.  I adore their classic yet trendy style and all their clothing is high quality.  I love this sweater because the peplum is very subtle and hides any problem areas.  The print is so different from any sweaters I have and can see myself wearing this with white jeans.  The material is a lightweight sweater, which is perfect for California weather now and for the spring as well.  I sized up to a medium in this one since the small was a little short lengthwise for my liking.  This plaid peplum sweater can be purchased here and it is under $90.  I picked up a few other great new arrivals at Ann Taylor I will be posting photos of later this week so make sure to check back.  Have a great weekend!

Great Face Cleanser Find Under $10

by Jennifer | February 02, 2017

Thanks to Influenster I was able to try a complimentary container of Aquation Gentle Moisturizing Cleanser.  I am a beauty product junkie so I have tried a lot of products and tend to wear makeup on a daily basis.  So that means I need a cleanser that can both remove all my makeup, clean away dirt and oil and also leave my skin feeling moisturizer and not dry.  I was pleasantly surprised that Aquation hit those marks for me and a large container was only $7.50!  It is marketed as dermatologist recommended.  And it claims it has an advanced formula that restores and fortifies natural water balance.

Say It With Sequins

by Jennifer | February 01, 2017

On my last shopping trip to one of my favorite spots Nordstrom, I found a sparkley counter with people huddled around it.  Of course I went to check it out and see what everyone was so drawn to.  The counter belonged to a company Bow & Drape. They let you customize sweatshirts, tees, dog hoodies, pillows, clutches, coin purses and more.  First you choose your blank product, next you embellish it, and then you get to pick it up the same day!

Quick Sweets and Eats In Napa

by Jennifer | January 31, 2017

Yesterday’s post was about my two favorite vineyards in Napa. Besides wine Napa is also known for great high-end restaurants, bakeries, and casual eateries.  Most of them with ingredients that are farm to fork.  Today I am going to write about my two favorite quick sweets and eats.  After or in between all that wine tasting you always need to refuel.  When you are in winery tour mode it is great to get your items quick, to go, or even to hang on for later.

Cool Hats For Cool Kids

by Jennifer | January 27, 2017

My little ones love wearing hats (probably because they see me always wearing them). But I always have a hard time finding cute and trendy hats that fit them and are comfortable  .  I recently teamed up with the brand Youngsters, a company that creates bright and colorful designs for kids’ products.
