Keeping my kids and family safe is so important to me. Our homes should be where we all feel protected. I want to make sure my home is baby proofed and safe. One way to do this is by keeping unused or expired medications away from my children. I am partnering with The Safe Medication Disposal Program in CA to raise awareness for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Which is on April 22, 2023.
Many people are unsure what to do with unwanted, unused or expired Prescription Medications. Sometimes they flush them down the toilet, down the drain or just throw it in the trash. This does damage to the environment, wildlife and water. It is also a safety concern to the community with the rise of prescription drug abuse. Now more than ever with the opioid crisis happening in our country it is so important to be conscious and responsible of how we dispose of unwanted and expired medications. During my Spring cleaning, I am going to pay extra attention to our medicine cabinets to ensure we are disposing of unwanted and unused prescription medications. The Safe Medication Disposal Program in CA created a Consumer Drug Take-Back program that helps me do just that. It easily allows unwanted, unused, and expired prescription medications to be dropped off at their kiosks and then disposed of properly. I found the kiosks are so easy to use, have no costs, and are in convenient locations. Mine was at a local grocery store I often shop. You can also properly dispose of sharps with the system too. The Safe Medication and Sharps Disposal Program in CA offers the ability to order Sharps containers through safemedicinedrop.com As a Mom I am so happy to have this resource to ensure medications are disposed of properly keeping them away from children and our community.

Super Nintendo World

It was hard to keep our control 🎮 while heading into Super Nintendo World at universal Stuidos in Hollywood. We are huge fans of Mario Kart so we can’t wait to get inside. Once inside the Land it made us feel like we were actually inside of a Super Mario Game.
Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge did not disappoint. It was amazing racing in augmented reality against some of our favorite characters !

In my box for Wantable this month I received the cutest dress (among other items) and I wanted to show you in this post how I styled it a couple different ways. The first was just pairing it with a pair of white sneakers. Great for a put together casual look. The second was throwing on a moto jacket I had in my closet with it. Pair with heels and it is a great date night look. For the third way I put on a graphic tee (also from my February Wantable box) on over it. I knotted it on the side and love the way it pairs together. And the final look I placed a cropped neutral color thermal over the top of the dress. It is a perfect way to transition this dress from winter to spring.

My advisor was so helpful and gave me so many great ideas and guidance. After discussing my business needs, we came up with a plan for me to achieve my goal. One thing that she suggested, that I am most excited about, is a text- to- join campaign. Meet our dog Cullen. He may be small but he is a huge part of our family! I found Cullen at a rescue 11 years ago, and could not have found a better dog. He is the sweetest Yorkie.
